Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili (A.L.F.A.) was established in Milan on June 24th, 1910. Visionary engineer and entrepreneur Nicola Romeo took over as director in 1915 and the company shortly afterward became known as Alfa Romeo. From pre-war grand prix racers to fashionable and dynamic city cars, Alfa Romeo has made countless significant contributions to the automotive world over its storied 111-year history. This tradition carries on as proud and passionate as ever for the current and coming generations of drivers and enthusiasts.
